bekah + amberly || an east tennessee elopement

May 1, 2020

last fall i was invited to be a part of bekah + amberly’s intimate elopement + reception. after our adventurous engagement session in the blue ridge mountains, i knew these two were going to plan a beautiful and intentional wedding. they spent the weekend at seven springs yoga resort just outside of the smoky mountain national park. amberly, a wonderful yoga instructor, led her friends in a morning session before we packed up and made our way to spence cabin. if you’ve ever visited spence cabin, you’ll understand when i say this place offers a wes anderson storybook vibe year round. with it’s pretty shade of pink enveloped in trees and on the river, it was the perfect setting for their day.

they got ready on separate ends of the cabin and saved their first look for when amberly made her way down the path to bekah to a beautiful ben howard tune. their ceremony was officiated by a dear friend and they exchanged intimate vows, tears, and laughs with the sounds of nature serenading them. after a few portraits around the forest, we made our way back to meet friends and family for their reception at seven springs in a party bus where a lot of dancing to lizzo ensued.

the rest of the evening was filled with good food and drinks, great music, and even better dance moves underneath a dark evening moon and dimmed twinkle lights. i’m sharing an overload of photos from this beautiful day — introducing bekah and amberly.
