you know those days that just are so good that they stick with you? well, this was one of them. when heather reached out to me about doing a wintry engagement session, i knew exactly where we would go. we packed up the cars and made our way to the blue ridge mountains in north carolina. we bundled up with blankets and hand warmers but couldn’t have anticipated just how cold the wind chill felt on top of the mountain. we ran and jumped around to stay warm and shot so fast that i prayed we captured something beautiful — i’d say it was all worth it. here are heather + chris on a winter day in the mountains.
